The same SILVIE Christmas fruit cake, ready for you to decorate at home. I make it from a family recipe, in the lighter Dundee style, and send it wrapped in a reusable tin.

Inside you’ll find:

• A baked and wrapped un-iced 6-inch Christmas fruit cake

• A recipe card for my whisky buttercream, with decorating tips and ideas for seasonal foliage

• A little plastic reindeer, just like the ones my baker grandad used to put on his Christmas cakes

You’ll need to supply the buttercream ingredients and any foliage you’d like to use. The reindeer is decorative. Remove it and any decorative foliage before serving.
