Community TABLE

Community Table by SILVIE is part café, part gathering place and part evolving artwork project — somewhere to eat something good, pour yourself a filter coffee and spend a bit of time. Expect a tiny weekly-changing menu of simple seasonal food, cakes and bakes, with DIY tea and coffee at a suggested donation. Come for lunch, come alone, bring someone, read, work, talk or simply sit for a while.

More than anything, Community Table is an experiment in gathering. A temporary place to share food and space without all the performance of modern café culture — no flat-white hierarchy, no huge menu, no pressure to move on - rather like an invite over to a friend’s home.. There’ll be changing food, music, people, occasional suppers and other happenings, and plenty we haven’t thought of yet. By turning up, you become part of it.

Community Table by SILVIE is a collaboration with YWMP at The NEST - a working music venue, so expect creativity, activity and the occasional soundcheck with your lunch..
